Donda West Law

So I was on MySpace this morning and saw this bulletin.
A lawmaker is pushing a bill inspired by Kanye and his Grammy performance for his mother. The law would require patients to receive clearance from a licensed doctor before having elective plastic surgery. This would ensure that individuals would be able to endure side effects from general anesthesia. Well I pray that this bill does get passed so that other people will be protected.

Kanye and his wonderful mother Donda West.

Also, if you're really feelin` my blog please tell your friends and spread the word about my blog! Thanks so much! I just had to post this so the communication would be clear. And if there's a topic you want me to discuss or if you need advice I don't mind helping...trust me I'm always giving out advice to people, so I don't mind at all! =]

I think I will put a poll up to find out what your opinions are on my blog. Thanx everyone!

Sunday Devotion

So I decided that each Sunday I should have a Sunday Devotion post where I post an encouraging poem and scripture. I hope this brightens someone's day! God Bless!

Here's a poem I found here.

In the Midst of the Mist, There Is Joy

When there are trials, troubles, tumult, or thunder;
When calamities, collisions and clouds arrive
That may darken the way you are walking today,
Take joy, for Christ is alive.

When you think you cannot take one more step forward,
When pain, and weakness and sickness prevail,
You may not have the words to cry out to the Master;
Do not despair; He is already there.

If the mist is so thick that you cannot see through it,
And the darkness is closing in fast,
And you can’t even see your own hands out before you,
Our Savior is present long after it’s past.

Do you think there are trials that no one has faced?
Do you think no one knows how you feel?
Do you think your temptations are oh, so unique?
Think again; Jesus Christ knows so well.

Are you thinking that suffering can just bring despair?
Do you think there is no one who cares?
Are you certain afflictions will not end for you?
Think again; Christ the healer is there.

In the midst of the mist, there is joy everlasting;
Pure joy that the world may not know.
In all of your trials, our Lord went before you,
And through them He’s helping you grow.

In the midst of the downpours and thunderous storms
He is walking beside you to show
That in your weakness He is your strength.
Let Him guide you wherever you go.

So when you are weary and longing to quit,
Remember that He sees the start and the end;
He loves you, and holds you and leads you along
And gives joy for the journey, my friend.

Here's the devotion scripture.

Psalms 27

The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

When evil men advance against me
to devour my flesh,
when my enemies and my foes attack me,
they will stumble and fall.

Though an army besiege me,
my heart will not fear;
though war break out against me,
even then will I be confident.

One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.

Then my head will be exalted
above the enemies who surround me;
at his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy;
I will sing and make music to the LORD.

Hear my voice when I call, O LORD;
be merciful to me and answer me.

My heart says of you, "Seek his face!"
Your face, LORD, I will seek.

Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
O God my Savior.

Though my father and mother forsake me,
the LORD will receive me.

Teach me your way, O LORD;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.

Do not turn me over to the desire of my foes,
for false witnesses rise up against me,
breathing out violence.

I am still confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the LORD
in the land of the living.

Wait for the LORD;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the LORD.

Gotta Love Trendir

This is an interesting shower cabin. Love to see CB aka Chris Brown in this...haha let me stop!

Cute sofa too.

I'm LOVING these rooms!!!

Lovin` the Bathroom too!

Round Beds Are Pimp.

So I've always wanted a round bed since forever and I saw this really chic one on trendir.com. I'm definitely getting one when I get my first house. That's just a must for me. ha.

The Infamous Round Bed.

Can't Even Spell Munroe Right.

So I know most people already know about this but I just had to post this so I could watch it as much as I want. haha. For those who don't know, the dude in this vid is Colin Munroe and he did this remix to Ye's 'Flashing Lights'. This boy is seriously talented in my opinion! I'm feelin` Munroe's remix more than Ye's original...but I still love ya Ye no worries! ha. You can listen to more of Munroe's music and get more info HERE.

KidRobot Fixx.

Yea...right now I'm looking at all this wonderful stuff from kidrobot.com and i hafta say I'm pretty impressed cause this stuff is right up my alley. This is quality clothing at its best...well in my opinion since I like bright colorful funky 80's themed clothing...

Back To The Future My Friends.

So I just stumbled across this recently...there's this site dedicated to the sneaks that Marty McFly wore in Back To The Future Part II. They are trying to convince Nike to make available to consumers the futuristic shoes. You can read about it HERE.

the McFly Sneaks.

Kinda off-topic but...

I had to post this. It's Jordin Sparks official video feat. oh so sexy Chris Brown. Oh how cute it is, about time there's a video where it's just plain innocent haha. Speaking of Chris Brown...it seems that he gets sexier by the minute! God blessed him! haha. I see now he's with Rihanna but it's all good cause they are a cute couple. It's so funny when I read gossip blogs and the readers on there (most likely little teen girls) get all pissed and start cussing each other out about Chris Brown and his love life...its so funny! Especially when they start hating on Ri-Ri! They love to hate when a pretty young woman starts dating a sexy young man. Don't hate people, just be glad...it's not like you personally know CB...and even if you do, it doesn't matter cause if he wanted you I'm sure you'd know. So let's grow up everyone and stop the foolishness. Ok I'm done lecturing. haha. =]

The Eye Candy.

I just HAD to put up a pic of him...it'd be a sin if I didn't. haha.

photo courtesy of Google.

Oh Mi Goodness! HAHA.

Haha. I love this amazing interior in this car! It's so chic! And it's pink so you know I'm gonna love it.

Another cool futuristic car I found on photobucket...

Coolio.

Saw this on neatorama.com....this man has been collecting pennies for 40 years and decided to make a portrait of Abe Lincoln out of 2400 pennies...kinda cool but shoot I'd take all those pennies and take it to the coin exchange machine at your local Lowes Foods [or other grocery store] and get me some bills...but hey to each his own...you can read more about it here.

This is AMAZING!

It's a book-lined staircase by London's Levitate Architects. This is hot, a neat attraction for an apartment! You can read more here.

To All My Heroes...

In honor of Black History Month, to all black women everywhere, we all are queens and this video portrays that. [[I had to post something about BHM since it's the end of Feb. and I had to represent]]

I just want to take out this time to thank all of the heroes past, future, and present who have made my life easier today by fighting for justice and equality. I thank you all because with out your focus, determination, strength, and courageousness, I would not be able to enjoy the freedoms and things that I enjoy today. That's why I encourage all people to vote this November in the 2008 election. It doesn't matter who you vote for as long as you exercise the right to vote, because so many races, groups, and ethnicities have fought to be able to take part of this privilege and your vote does count. I will definitely be voting this November for my candidate of choice [[si se puede!]] and hopefully we'll make history.

Hmmm...

So there's this search engine I found on Ye's blog called search with kanye. And you can win prizes like iphones, macbooks & Ye posters by earning swag bucks...shoot I definitely downloaded that toolbar! I wouldn't mind winning a new phone! I need one anyways...

But if you want to win some pimpin swag bucks just click HERE to sign up!

ok...i think I might get addicted to this! haha!

To Feel The WInd In My Hair...Sigh...

So I'm supposed to get my car this summer [[Thank God!]] And I was looking at
aol.com's story on the top 10 most affordable coupes. Here's some that I think my parents should consider...hint hint mom and dad...haha. =]

A Ford Focus...

A Honda Civic...

A Nissan Altima...

I can dream on this one...

photos courtesy of aol.com

So yea I'll just be glad if I even get a nice decent car...hopefully a coupe though cause I need something small and compact...but yea I'll just be glad for a car...these are just suggestions...haha. =]
